Poems representing our Forum in the July IBPC
Tuesday July 1, 2003
We’ve entered three very different poems in this month’s InterBoard Poetry Competition: Joseph Posik’s “Her Name Is,” a spare and elegantly archetypal personification of war, Tammy Turner Peaden’s “Talking To Walls,” vivid and bittersweet narrative entry into the mind of an original character, and Guy Kettelback’s powerful memory piece, “After Open Heart Surgery (for Frank).” Thank you, poets, for posting these poems on our Poetry Forum... and luck to you all in the judging!
