You’re invited to a special event, the Pioneers reading featuring inter-arts poets Duriel Harris & Quraysh Ali Lansana from Chicago and Jayne Fenton Keane from Queensland, Australia. “Kick back with us for a lively evening of original language arts on a concise but cosmopolitan bill.” Tuesday, July 22, 8 pm at the Leadway Pub, 5233 N. Damen Avenue, Chicago, suggested donation $5 at the door (or pay-what-you-can).
Kurt wrote for About Poetry as our Midwest Museletter correspondent in 2001 & 2002 and is the author of our article “A Word To the Wise: On Entering Your Poems in Competition.”
