Bicoastal Poesy unites two thriving poetry scenes
Tuesday September 30, 2003
from Doug Holder of Ibbetson Street Press:
In the new issue of Poesy Magazine there are interviews with poets Linda Lerner and Robert K. Johnson. There is poetry by B.Z. Niditch, Ed Galing, Dave Church, Sue Landon, David Lee and many more. There are also reviews from Laura Stamps and Doug Holder.
Founded in 1989 by Brian Morrissey, Poesy comes out quarterly on newsprint & online, from Santa Cruz publisher Morrissey & Boston editor Holder, and is dedicated to linking the East & West coast poetry cultures across the U.S. Its pages feature a collection of interesting photography with poems by such well-known “underground” & “post-Beat” poets as Jack Hirschman, A.D. Winans, lyn lifshin, together with other less-known poets well worth reading.
