Looking back to spring...

...when Don Yorty wrote us two letters that threaded the reading & writing of poems into days made memorable by events large & small, but mostly by the words woven into them: “Hope is the thing with feathers” and then “Yellow Spring and Sonnets” -- both worth rereading as the year winds down towards winter & American soldiers are still dying in Iraq.
