Wednesday February 11, 2004
from Jutta Büchter at literaturWERKstatt berlin:
“A new form of literary pleasure” was the verdict of the press following the first ZEBRA Poetry Film Award. With 610 submissions from more than 30 countries, the contest was an enormous success. The literaturWERKstatt berlin, together with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH and interfilm berlin, is now announcing the second contest, to take place as part of the Poesiefestival Berlin. Deadline for submissions is 31 March 2004. An international jury will determine the winners of the 2nd ZEBRA Poetry Film Award, with total prize money of 10,000 euros, from July 1 to 4, 2004.
