New Critique Circle in our Forum

Friday March 26, 2004
At the beginning of March, Forum poet Dreamboat Annie started a discussion (“I’m Bored, Are You?”) in search of a deeper engagement, more critique, more camaraderie, more analysis, more than just a few pats on the back in the Poetry Forum... and out of that conversation came the idea of forming a smaller critique circle within the Forum, for those poets who really want to exercise their poetic skills in responding to the poems they read here, and who want to receive more detailed and intense responses to the poems they post here.

You’re all invited to participate. Your poetry guide Margy has selected Dreamboat Annie’s Challenge-winning poem “Glassy-Eyed Ocean View” as this week’s Critique Poem. Post a detailed response, something more than “yea” or “nay,” by next Friday, April 2, and you will be eligible to have one of your poems chosen as the next Critique poem.

Poetry is blessing from the god. The people who are blessed can write good poems which can make our mind slender as well as happy. Many poems make love in us.
