Upcoming poetry contest postmark deadlines

The second annual Marsh Hawk Poetry Prize competition will be judged by Gerald Stern, submission deadline April 30, 2005. Marsh Hawk Press offers a cash award of $1,000.00 plus publication of the winning book. It is judged by a poet of national stature not connected with the press. The winner’s name and title of the winning book are announced nationally.
Also due this spring are entries for:
“A Word To the Wise: On entering your poems in competition,” by Kurt Heintz
“You Do It Because You Love It,” by S.A. Griffin
