- “The Pavement Remembers,” by Douellet, a richly sensual evocation of the spirit of a place which won the mid-June challenge
- “Lace Curtains” by MidusTouch, a soaring, chanting poem of love both domestic & romantic that caused one reader to crown her “the queen of villanelles”
- “A Strand of Attention” by Ecrivain01, a poem which answers Mark Strand’s “Life makes writing poetry necessary to prove I really was paying attention.”
