Harvey Stanbrough
May - August 2001 Judge, InterBoard Poetry Competition

Harvey has taught college-level poetry writing classes, private and public seminars, and workshops, and he is regularly invited to present sessions on poetry and fiction at writers' conferences across the nation.

In recent reviews, Harvey's work has been compared favorably with that of William Stafford, Robert Service, Lawson Inada, and T.S. Eliot, and another reviewer has called him the Robert Frost of his generation.

Besides being a poet and the editor of The Raintown Review (which publishes metered poetry), Harvey also is an accomplished fictionist, essayist, instructor, and lecturer. You can read a sampling of his poems at his Web site.
