Mimeo Cyber Po:
Paul Copeland & Rinaldo Rasa

Dateline: 4/21/98

The Internet makes for a wild-eyed community of poets. Who knows who is connecting? Connected? The very mode of screen-writing makes for graphic possibilities, surround sound, videos that pop open and read to you with blue mouths as you try to analyze the words themselves dripping. The art of cyberpo is, like all computer-generated work, definitely in its infancy. We at Mining Co Po have a bent towards mimeo cyberpo, the lo-tech arrangement of characters and words into a concrete, graphic representation. And we love showing off our far-flung poets -- here Paul Copeland from Australia and Rinaldo Rasa from Venice -- two regulars on Luigi-Bob Drake's Wr-eye-tings Scratch Pad for VizPo addicts.
