You
speak
you speak
in cliché
I copy your words
I broadcast on billboards, bumper-
stickers trite phrases clever appendages you won
you
know
you win
all your words
big things verbalized
things, a disregard for status
plagiarized: boxing gloves, tattoos, a decoration.

Georgia Luna Smith Faust is a poet and a student who likes to write about cockroaches, tomatoes, subways and an acute fear of firecrackers. She grew up in downtown Manhattan and can’t seem to leave. Georgia Luna’s interest in the Fibonacci sequence began with a report she wrote for her sixth grade math class. In addition to Italian mathematics, Georgia Luna likes the Italian language and is looking forward to spending four months in Milano.
