FAREWELL PHILLY MUSELETTER
Poetry is taking me to New York City, so this is my last Museletter. I began the first Philadelphia-area Museletter (April 2000) with a quote by Sharon Olds that beautifully sums up why I do poetry: “To the poet, the human community is like the community of birds to a bird, singing to each other. Love is one of the reasons we are singing to one another, love of language itself, love of sound, love of singing itself, and love of the other birds.” A song of thanks goes to, in addition to my About Poetry Guides, Bob Holman and Margy Snyder, the following members of the local flock (in alpha order) for contributing to my Museletter ventures, by way of poetry venue, calendar, and/or conversation:

I'll be back at About Poetry with the occasional feature article, but this is goodbye for the Philly Museletter. Thanks & farewell,

Marj Hahne
